Embracing CHANGE

It's amazing how life can take the swiftest turn and CHANGE everything you thought to be possible. CHANGE does not always mean the loss of something... CHANGE is a means of creating another way to ACCOMPLISH your goals...

CREATING AND LIVING IN PEACE

"Peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of creative alternatives for responding to conflict"
                                                      - Dorothy Thompson

At some point and time in our lives we all seek PEACE. For whatever reason there comes a time and a place where the noise and chaos around us has become or is becoming too much and we just need a moment of silence. Some type of SERENITY and CALM to what can appear to be a never-ending  STORM.

I've been experiencing that storm lately and in need of that serenity and place of INNER PEACE. The solitude to appreciate the silence while in a room full of noise. In one of my previous blogs I spoke about how I had been focusing more on my ability and focus towards meditation. Deepak Chopra made a very profound statement with regard to what PEACE really is......"Peace is the space where BEING is more important than DOING"....

What that means is that BEING AT PEACE means being in a place of POWER and KNOWING. In this STATE your BEING is more important than your DOING. BEING true to your INNER SELF is coincidently the most AUTHENTIC thing that you can DO. Nothing is more humble and simple than BEING who you are.

I know this sounds easier said than done because most often we find ourselves living the lives that have been approved by those around us. That isn't AUTHENTIC LIVING. In those moments we are simply EXISTING... fulfilling a life that has been MANIFESTED through the DESIRES OF OTHERS. No where in that choice are we BEING TRUE to who we are. And because of that we will never  be FULFILLED.

It is important that WE KNOW and UNDERSTAND that WHO WE ARE is enough. We have everything we need within us to accomplish our dreams and to BE AT PEACE.

NAMASTE
