It's amazing how life can take the swiftest turn and CHANGE everything you thought to be possible. CHANGE does not always mean the loss of something... CHANGE is a means of creating another way to ACCOMPLISH your goals...

The Power Of Meditation

This past month has been a very trying and busy time for me. Fortunately, my aunt reminded me of a 21-day Meditation with Deepak Chopra. I was excited that she reminded me because I missed the last opportunity to become more in tune with my TRUE self and the energy and power that I possess within. This has been an amazing experience for me, and I must admit some days I wasn't as focused as I should have been. But, ultimately this process has been fulfilling to me in so many ways. I am Grateful because with the way life has been rolling lately, this meditation process came right on time. It has made what could have been a very overwhelming month into a month of peace, clarity, awareness, focus, and humility. I can't explain the way that I feel, but when I finished the final day of meditation tonight, my soul felt light and free. I felt butterflies in my stomach, but not from nervousness. It's difficult to put into mere words because its just something that you have to feel. It's one of those things that truly require the experience in order to gain the understanding. The ability to gain a sense of inner peace and awareness is uplifting and life changing. It allows you to refocus your desires and live a much freer existence. It affords you the opportunity to live without regrets and to make choices that are harmonious and aligned with what God has planned for you. The most profound thing that kept flowing through my mind from today's meditation was "Peace Is the space where Being is more important than Doing."  That line spoke volumes to me because Peace is the one thing I have been searching for and trying to attain for so long. At one point and time in my life I thought that Peace could come through my actions, but I soon realized that constantly "doing" still did not bring me the Peace that my soul desperately desired. It wasn't until I sat still long enough to know and understand that TRUE Peace was exactly that.... Sitting still.. Knowing that He is God and He will provide all of the answers if you sit still long enough to allow Him to do His work.
I leave you with this quote my Friends......

"Peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of creative alternatives for responding to conflict" - Dorothy Thompson
